I create each ceramic coffee mug by hand, step-by-step. Slabs are rolled, cut & shaped from white stoneware. The handle starts as a rough carrot shape and pulled to the pleasing, comfortable shape you see here. Black is applied overall, flowers are lightly scratched in and colored then detail is carved The mug is glazed and fired to 2165 degrees in my electric kiln, at my San Diego home studio and is lead-free and safe to use in your dishwasher and microwave. Please note I have more than one of these mugs and there will be variations in the colors and shape, compare the shots to get an idea.

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING: I have calculated the shipping costs with the Priority (2-3 day) rate, thinking the less time your package is in transit, the more likely it will arrive safely. Because pottery is fragile, the packages become bulky when packing and it is hard to calculate ahead of time if things can be shipped together to save cost, therefore I don't offer a discount for shipping items together but WILL credit you a refund whenever it is possible to do so. As a generality, I can probably ship 4 mugs together in one box and simply increase the cost of shipping one by a couple of lbs, refunding you the difference between that and 4 individual shipments.
